New grill? - think stock photography.
Or at least that's what I did! I was breaking in a new grill and couldn't resist the urge to grab my camera while cooking up a few sausages for dinner. Here's how I transformed the original photography to a level that made it look like good food stock photography...
Here's the original shot. I liked the perspective and composition, but the color of the sausages were dull due to a cloudy day.
I brought the file into Lightroom to adjust the color and lessen the intensity of the light reflecting on the grill.
In Photoshop, I enhanced the grill marks to give the meat a more cooked look. I also took advantage of light reflecting on the bottom near the flame by color correcting the reflections to look like additional flames.
Now we're cooking!
